Christmas is fast approaching and it’s time to start making last minute dashes to decorate your home before the in-laws arrive.

If you’re still in need of a tree, here are a few ideas that will save the day and create a real talking point amongst your guests. They won’t even need to know that you’re a last-minute Larry!

Decorate the tree

You don’t actually need to buy a Christmas tree in order to make your home Christmassy. Why not decorate a tree you already have? I love the idea of hanging ornaments on this house plant – its original, modern and will look great in a Scandi-style apartment.

Christmas teepee

This is a Jubiltree – a wood tree form that you can decorate differently all year round. You could use it as a teepee in a nursery, decorate it with flowers in spring or transform it into a Christmas tree over the holidays!

 Driftwood Tree

I love the idea of finding pieces of drift wood along the beach and piling them into an awesome modern Christmas tree. It might need some careful planning but this driftwood tree is fab, and looks great with the simple silver and white baubles.
