Stripey curtains are a popular choice so we have a wide range of fabric from traditional classic ticking to modern, contemporary, broad, bright and funky stripes. We also have a range of elegant lightweight striped voiles and sheers. Our stripey voiles can be made into net panels as well as curtains.
We have two ranges of striped curtains – readymade and bespoke made to measure curtains. Our ready made stripe curtains are available in a choice of 3 linings – plain, thermal and blackout and come in a choice of headings including eyelet and pencil pleat. If you have an extra long, wide or short window, you will need to use our custom made to measure drapes. You can choose any heading including tab top triple and double pleat using this service. You can also choose the luxury interlined option using our custom curtain service. An interlining helps your curtains hang beautifully and also acts as extra thermal insulation to keep the cold out of your room.
The stripes on curtains normally run vertically but it is possible to use most striped fabric to run horizontally if that is what you prefer. You would need to call us to arrange this. Simple striped children’s curtains, especially nautical or seaside stripes, are popular choice for boys’ or girls’ bedroom, playrooms and nurseries but they can also be elegant and sophisticated, and suitable for a smart or more formal room. A bold, bright or funky multi stripe is a good way of making a statement without risking too much clash with other decorative items in the room.
