Step 1: Decide your perfect width
Our pencil pleat curtains come in three widths: standard, large and extra-large. To work out which size you need, just measure your pole and track width, and then use this table to pick your perfect size:

 
Step 2: Decide your ideal drop
There are four drops (lengths) available: 137cm, 183cm, 228cm and 274cm. The extra-long 274cm length curtains are only available in the large and extra-large widths.  Choose the drop that best suits your window.  It’s generally better to have curtains slightly too long than too short because they’ll keep your room warmer and look better.

Step 3: Select your size
Using your calculated measurements above select your size from the dropdown menu above and complete your order.

NB: Although we always strive to get our measurements as accurate as possible, there is a 1.5cm tolerance for our ready made curtains, so please bear this in mind before ordering curtains where the precision of the length is important. 

Pencil Pleat The pencil pleat - our most popular heading - is a simple and versatile heading. If you’re confused by heading choice, this is the one for you. It is smart but relaxed and versatile. You can adjust both the finished width and the height a little which means you might even find a window for them in your next home.  Upon delivery, form the curtain pleats by pulling the heading tape strings at the end. The pencil pleat heading is 3 inches deep on our ready made curtains. This heading is suitable for both poles and tracks.

All other headings and fabrics

Cotton lining
Our single layer cotton lining will help your blinds or curtains hang beautifully, and will protect the fabric from sunlight damage.

Blackout lining
Our single layer blackout lining will keep the sun out of your room on those summer mornings, making it perfect for any bedroom.  Blackout lining is also even more thermally efficient than a thermal lining and protects your fabric from sun damage so you get three perks for the price of one. Our blackout lining is white or ivory, not black.

The safest and most efficient way of cleaning your curtains or blinds is to vacuum them in situ with a clean attachment.   However you may feel that your curtains need a deep clean after several years, in which case our curtains are dry clean only. This process can shrink the fabrics by up to 3%.  Our curtains or blinds should never go into a washing machine. Ready Made curtains size guide

Ironing
We strive to deliver your fabric in the best possible condition. However, natural fabrics can crush easily, so there is a minor chance they could be slightly creased on arrival. We recommend you simply hang them up straight away and the creases will disappear before your eyes. Ironing the fabric could be damaging and ruin your curtains.

Stretching
Natural fabrics can stretch over time, especially loose weave linens. This is hardly noticeable unless the length of your curtains or blinds is critical. The added length can be up to 1cm.

Light Fastness and Fading
Our natural fabrics have varying degrees of light fastness depending on the range they are from. The best way to avoid fading and protect the colour of your fabric is to order a lined or interlined curtain.

Ready-Made Curtain Order Cancellations
Our aim is to ensure that you're entirely happy with your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied with your curtains, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

If you'd like to cancel your ready made curtain order, please email us within 7 working days of receiving the goods. If you receive the goods before you've cancelled, please contact us for guidance on re-packaging before sending them back to us. The goods being returned should be unused (heading tapes must not be pulled etc.), together with the packaging.  If you cancel your order while it's on its way to you, simply keep the curtains in their original packaging and return them to us in their same condition they arrived in. Contact us as soon as you can upon receiving the package.

Before returning any items to us, please contact us at returns@naturalcurtaincompany.com to request a return form and we'll send all the information over to you. Please enclose this form in the same package as the goods you're returning.

To avoid disappointment, ensure that the goods are packed carefully to avoid any damage. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds unless the returned goods are unused (i.e. the tapes are not pulled and the fabric is in its original condition) – and all packaging that came with the order is returned at the same time (the curtains do not necessarily have to be in the packaging).

Send your ready made order cancellation returns to us at The Natural Curtain Company, 31a Chelsea Wharf, 15 Lots Road, London SW10 0QJ. Your money will be paid in to your bank account a maximum of 14 days after we've received the goods. To make sure you have proof of return, we recommend using a courier company to send the goods.

Ready Made Curtain Order Returns and Refunds
If there's a significant problem with the quality of your curtains, and you'd prefer not to receive a replacement, we'll collect the faulty goods and give you a full refund within 14 days of making the collection.
